Guernsey – New minimum wage law comes into force

The Minimum Wage (Guernsey) (Law), 2009 came into force on 1 October 2010 and, from that date, workers must not be paid less than the approved hourly rate, namely £4.25 for workers up to age 18 and £6 for those age 19 and above. Further information: Employment Guide: Statutory Minimum Wage

Proposal to increase Jersey minimum hourly wage rate to £6.32
