Error in HMRC Booklet E14

HMRC have acknowledged that there was an error in the E14 ‘Employer Handbook for Statutory Sick Pay’.  The linking tables at the back of the handbook made reference to 29 February 2013, which is incorrect as 2013 is not a Leap Year.  Consequently, the linking dates after 28 February 2013 were incorrect.  When this was noticed last week, HMRC advised that a new version would appear on their Website and the link below should be to the corrected handbook.

Firstly, thank you to my colleague Kate Upcraft for making us aware of this in the first instance.  Secondly, if anybody has been ultra-efficient and printed or saved a version which includes 29 February 2013, please ensure that you discard this and replace with an updated version.

If there is still an error in the E14 when you access it, please make us aware.
