New auto-enrolment timetable, 2012/13 tax information, maximum deposit order increase, Nest restrictions, and RTI

2012 is, without doubt, going to be a memorable year.  There are four major events that come to mind, all of which have major implications for the payroll department and are featured, to some extent, in this Newsletter:

1. Today, 06 February 2012 marks 60 years since Her Majesty The Queen’s accession to the throne.  This will culminate in the Jubilee celebrations at the start of June
2. It was also on this day in 1971 that man played golf, for the first time, on the moon. At that time, there were people who doubted whether man would ever land on the moon, indeed some still do doubt whether it did happen. Well, the first RTI pilot employers await the start of the tax year in April, there are many doubters who believe it will never happen, but we continue our series of articles on the subject discussing the Full Payment Submission this week.
3. Auto Enrolment starts in October and there was some important news last week
