Tuesday, January 10th, 2012Another new year. The same old thing for the next twelve months? How do you feel about last year? Was it good? Do you feel satisfied? Well, this is a time for resolutions, so why not make some positive ones? Actually January is a month when resolutions are made and then fade away, but why not do some real planning this year and give yourself some good things to aim for.
Take three sheets of paper and title them Work, Home and Leisure. Write down on each sheet the things you would really like to achieve, for example make yourself fit for promotion by learning word processing; create a rockery garden; join a tennis club and play competitions. Against each aim write what you will have to do to reach it. Then consider how realistic it is. If it is attainable, produce on the reverse of each sheet a programme for achieving your aim. From then on carry with you a summary of the actions you need to do in the current month. Bingo! Keep at it and by the end of 2012 you should be well equipped to apply for promotion, will have a flourishing rock garden, and will feel supremely fit. You will be living. Go for it!
