I do like to think of myself as an optimist.  I try to see the good in a situation and in people – a half full rather than a half empty person.  However, in this life and after a few years on this earth, I have learned that I must apply some realism to a situation after a while.  For example, I was optimistic enough to believe that the most expensive face moisturiser really would defy the ravages of time and turn back the clock.  However, despite being worth it, I am realistic enough now to accept that, probably, I have left it all a bit late!

With Real Time Information, I am very much in the optimistic stage – I see the benefits, love the idea of it and love the idea that major payroll reporting changes are just around the corner.  In this spirit, I am enjoying passing on any RTI information that we have at The Learn Centre, and this week we are looking at the first of the five submissions that we may be required to make.

Optimism is a much nicer mood than realism ……
