Each week we receive a number of payroll questions on our forum, and here are this week’s batch. Can you help with any answers?
My employer offers a group stakeholder pension but so far no employees have signed up to it.
I run the payroll using the HMRC basic tool but am pretty clueless about it all really,
A new employee has started and he has an employer contribution and may make personal contributions as well.
Does anyone know how to handle this?
Further questions from our forum:
- Having received a P6 coding notice, we are applying tax code BR M1. However, it is deducting tax from earnings for this month and last month? Is that correct?
- Can I still send paper P11Ds or have I got to file them online?
- When completing form P11D, how do we report reimbursements of employees’ car insurance, and the use of a fuel card for business mileage only.
