Each week we receive a number of payroll questions on our forum, and here are this week’s batch. Can you help with any answers?
I’ve come across a situation for which I hope there’s an obvious answer (that is currently escaping me)!
At the moment there are two distinct organisations (each with their own PAYE Reference) who have been operating their own Payrolls for many years.
As from 1st August these two organisations will become one organisation, with a single brand new PAYE Reference, and will operate a single Payroll from that date.
My question is whether HMRC will require (or even accept) an ‘in-year set of year-end files’ for each of the ‘old’ PAYE schemes?
Could someone point me in the right direction for accessing details regarding the above please?
