Only two versions of form P60 available for 2010/11 year end

In October, HMRC announced that the paper P14 for 2010/11, which very few employers are permitted to use, will be a two-part form, the second part of which is the P60 for the employee.

A further announcement to payroll software developers indicates that only two versions of the P60 will be available from the Orderline for 2010/11, a single sheet version that can be completed by hand or by laser printer, and a continuous version for high-speed printing.  The layout of the two versions is identical.

    could I get sent my 2010 p60 please by email,, need for accountant

  2. Noreen: I’m not quite sure if you are asking us to send you your P60 or if your employer is permitted to send you your P60 by email. Clearly we cannot send you a P60 – only your employer can. And, yes, your employer may send you your P60 as an attachment to an email.

  4. Bassam: Each employer for whom you were working on 5 April 2011 is required by law to give you a P60, detailing your earnings and tax during the 2010/11 tax year, no later than 31 May 2011. If you have not been given a P60, you need to ask your employer’s payroll office for it.
