Employer CD-ROM – Patch available to correct usage problems

The HMRC Business Customer Unit has issued the following guidance for employers experiencing problems in using their new Employer CD-ROM.
We are aware that some employers are experiencing difficulties using the new Employer CD-ROM 2009. Some employers see a yellow @’Post it note’ when opening the CD-ROM explaining that there are technical difficulties.
We have identified a solution to the majority of theses cases. If you select the link below you will be able to download a patch which should enable you to use the CD-ROM. The user name and password to access this are both the same – hmrcreleases
If after the download you are still experiencing problems please visit our website at www.hmrc.gov.uk/employers/cdrom/index.htm where we will continue to update our advice.
